ONFLIGHT HUB+

Built for aerobatic analysis

Record dynamic maneuvers at 100 Hz with multi-frequency, multi-constellation GNSS and four integrated analog inputs.

Examine aircraft motion and control inputs, with precise GPS timing for formation flight analysis.

Detailed measurements through the maneuver

Review how you entered a maneuver, how the aircraft responded, and where the next flight could be more consistent.

100 Hz

Review maneuver execution

Compare attitude, rotation rate, and load factor through a roll or pull-up to examine timing and consistency.

GNSS

Follow the flight path

Examine the shape of a loop or the trajectory through a sequence. Multi-frequency GNSS supports positioning as aircraft attitude changes; antenna placement still matters.

4×

Connect inputs to aircraft response

Connect position sensors or other instrumentation to the analog inputs, then compare control movements with the aircraft’s recorded response.

Choose your antenna

Keep everything in one unit, or mount the antenna separately. Choose the setup that fits your cockpit and installation.

OnFlight Hub+ with integrated antenna

Integrated antenna

Keep everything in one unit with a helical antenna mounted on top of the case. The helical antenna supports satellite reception through unusual aircraft attitudes, making this a compact option for aerobatic flying.

What’s included

  • OnFlight Hub+ with a top-mounted helical antenna

Tripod mount adapter sold separately.

OnFlight Hub+ with external antenna

External antenna

Mount OnFlight Hub+ where it fits best and place the antenna on the glareshield for a clear view of the sky. A 5m cable gives you the flexibility to keep the logger and antenna in separate locations.

What’s included

  • OnFlight Hub+
  • External antenna with a 5m cable

Tripod mount adapter sold separately.

Antenna placement: The aircraft can block portions of the sky from either antenna, particularly during inverted flight. Position the antenna with as clear a view of the sky as your installation allows.

OnFlight tripod mount adapter

ACCESSORY

Tripod mount adapter

CNC-machined aluminum adapter connects either OnFlight Hub+ variant to a standard 1/4-20 tripod mount. Sold separately.

PROTOTYPE DEVELOPMENT

Blue Angels and Thunderbirds

The technology behind OnFlight Hub+ was developed through prototype systems delivered to the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds. Both teams use those systems with ACROWRX for training and flight analysis.

OnFlight Hub+ is the production system developed from that work.

Flight analysis tools

Review maneuvers and sequences in ACROWRX, or use FlySto and CloudAhoy for general flight analysis and training debriefs.

Formation flight analysis

GPS timing lets you align recordings from multiple Hub+ units in ACROWRX and examine relative aircraft motion on a common timeline. Each aircraft records independently; no inter-aircraft data link is required.

Convert OnFlight recordings to CSV or MATLAB files for your own analysis.

Wireless connectivity

Stream attitude and position over Wi-Fi to compatible flight apps, including ForeFlight and Garmin Pilot, using GDL-90. Bluetooth connects to compatible heart-rate monitors or a Skeeter Enterprises Stadia for above-ground-level (AGL) altitude data. Our custom UDP format provides higher-rate output for your own applications and options to stream additional data to OnFlight Hub+. See the Developer’s Manual for details.
